Kiawah Conservancy Garden Keepers Program

News and Happenings image:

Interested in volunteering this week?  Meet us in the Garden on Friday, May 11 at 9am. The sweetgrass sections are need of dethatching. Bring your gloves, water bottle, and stiff rake, with which we will attempt to comb out the dead grass.

The Conservancy Garden Keepers is a year-round volunteer initiative that keeps Kiawah's citizens connected with nature through Garden Stewardship. Participating as a Garden Keeper is an opportunity to be a steward of one of Kiawah's greatest resources throughout the year. This group of dedicated volunteers, led by Edna Roberds and Pat Pachuk, cares for the Naturally Kaiwah Demonstration Garden and its fixtures at Night Heron Park.
