Earth Day Celebration
The Kiawah Conservancy is hosting an Earth Day Celebration in Night Heron Park with live music, food trucks, talks from environment and wildlife experts from across South Carolina, local vendors, ice cream, crafts, and face painters. It is sure to be fun for the whole family and you’re invited!
We’re pulling out all the stops on this Earth Day festival with a concert from the Blue Heron Pond Boys, empanadas from Don Sazon, and some local eats from True Lowcountry. There will also be tent talks from local organizations and speakers doing amazing work to protect our environment, including:
Charleston Area Beekeepers Association, Clemson Extension Master Rain Gardner Program, Clemson University Bobcat Researcher Meghan Keating, Kiawah Island Shorebird Stewards, the South Carolina Aquarium, SC Oyster Restoration and Enhancement (SCORE), and more!
Registration is not required and admission is free! Food and drink will be available for a donation. One (1) beverage will cost one (1) ticket and one (1) food item will cost two (2) tickets. The suggested donation is two (2) tickets for $10 or four (4) tickets for $20. Additional donations are appreciated and will help underwrite the cost of the event. We will be taking cash or credit donations at the event. No outside food or drink is allowed.
Please remember to bring any seating you may want. If you’re coming from off the Island, you can tell security at the gate that you are attending Kiawah Conservancy’s Earth Day Celebration.
